Brief Description:  Finish-up of aft wing attach angles

wow. This retirement life is taking a toll on me. I made better progress on the plane when I was working fulltime! Well, we hit some more Rangers games, and spent most of the 4th-of-July time up in Kansas (incinerating a small town with fireworks). Then it was our son's birthday. Then, #2 son was contacted for interviews by two regional airlines, so he has been involved in a lot of interview prep work.

So, tonight I finally got to spend some quality time with the Sonex.

Drilled the right-hand aft wing attach angle to match the exisiting aft spar tunnel parts (yes, there are slight fit differences between the two sides from original construction). Countersunk the holes related to the spar tunnel. Installed the angles, and drilled the remaining holes that are based on hole locations in the fuse side skins. Removed the angles, and installed the aft spar tunnel and reinstalled the attach angles and gussets.

Now I have to re-do the other wing attach block, drill through the blocks to take them to 3/8, then re-rig the wings so I can re-drill the wing attach angles. Hopefully cooler weather will arrive soon. I'm dripping corrosive sweat all over the plane and try to get it cleaned up before it dries.
