Brief Description: Drill Hinge Half Right Cowl / Drill Hinge Left Cow

Last night, I got to the point where I had to have an extra set of hands in order to dirll the hinge holes for the lower aft hinge on the right side. With help, we were able to shine a bright LED flashlight around the motor mount and gascolator to illuminate the hinge holes. Drilled the holes.
Removed the right cowl and installed the left cowl. Had my helper shine the flashlight so I could drill the hinge holes in the side aft hinge. Once everything was cleco'd into place, I also marked the bottom aft edge of the cowl for trimming.
I also set up and used the laser to shoot a centerline trim indication for the left cowl, upper and lower sides.
The lower side has quite a bit extra available to it, which appears that it may offset the slight shortage on the right side. At this point, I am not going to trim the bottom side until I can mount both cowl halves at once to see where and how much will *really* be needed for trim.
I was going to perform the trim operations tonight after dinner, but another good friend builder (Hi, Doug!) called up to discuss wiring diagrams. So, although I didn't get to trim my cowl, I still spent quality time discussing Sonex.
