With the panel in its prior orientation laying on the glareshield, there were some wires that were pulled a bit too tight.
Today I started prep work to clean up all of the rats nest of wires in preparation for eventual panel installation.
I repositioned the panel so that it could just be lowered into position and riveted. Bundled the main power/ground harness along the left side of the fuselage; some under-tank work (ugh!) getting the harness secured. Removed and repositioned several individual wires to make for a cleaner, better-isolated installation (getting them away from data lines, for instance).
Tidied-up the wiring that will be routed on the backside of the fuel tank - the fuel sender ground wires, sender electronics box ground, the RDAC data cable, etc. Spliced-in additional length of wire for the RDAC hot lead - it was WAY too short for final installation.
Worked on smoothing the prop hub wood spacer in prep for cowl installation work - the diameter must be pretty consistent to ensure proper alignment of the cowl to the prop hub for trimming the cowl.
