"Started initial trial fitting of the rear canopy bow. The canopy corner angles/weldments were oddly very tight in the bow - so much so that I had to remove the powder coating from them, even after ensuring that the bow was properly deburred.
Made 3 cuts on each side of the bow in order to remove excess material - didn't want to go hog-wild and remove too much. I may need to remove a bit more, but for now it's pretty close.
Already made one bend on the left side in order to have the bow match the profile of the turtledeck. Won't be as critical as the forward side, since I only have to match that one surface, and there's no overlap as with the forward bow."
