Brief Description:  Right Side Canopy Side Hinge Rivet / Drill Bow Ang

Deburred the canopy longeron hinge that was drilled the other day.

Located the side rail position against the canopy hinge; clamped into place and drilled to 1/8"" for AAP rivets.

After I drilled to 1/8"" (#30), I noticed the instructions for this piece that say if you want to use screws (still undecided) that you should drill to #36 size to allow you to tap with a 6-32 tap. Even at 1/8"", a 6-32 screw won't fit into the hole, so I don't know if it will work if I try to tap it or not. Can always use the fall-back position of aluminum rivets.

Spaced the rail using 1/8"" shim stock to simulate the canopy being in place to ensure that the bow geometry didn't change as a result of final placement of the hinge assembly.

Ensured spacing of the forward bow to the aft windshield bow. Made small adjustments with the canopy bow angles. Marked rivet offsets since there's not enough room inside the angle (4130 tubing) to have rivets directly opposite one another.

Drilled pilot holes on each side.

Bloody hot out today; I think it was 103 or 104; our backporch digital thermometer was saying 112, and the garage where I was working was at 97 degrees. Just bloody hot. Draining.
