Brief Description: Up-drill / c-sink mount hardware
Tonight I up-drilled and countersunk the left upper and lower motor mount-to-fuselage mounting hardware.
Up-drilled to 1/4" and countersunk using a 100 deg countersink.
I was very pleased to see that, because of how I have the motormount located, there is plenty of room for the -S100 machine screws to fit in the lower-most holes. Some builders have had to resort to cutting down a machine screw and then using a commensurately lower nut, along with loktite to secure it. Since I have plenty of room, I can use the as-per-plans self-locking nuts. It's nice when something goes according to plan!
