Brief Description: General UpDrill / Deburr Fwd Fuselage
Lots of time; nothing worth taking pictures of.
Deburred upper firewall.
Drilled holes in the lower motor mounts up to 3/16" for the AN-3 hardware.
Drilled upper splice plate holes to 3/16" ONLY in 4 locations (2 ea side): on the vertical side of the fwd fuse skin. Need a countersink for the upper surface of the longeron so I didn't drill those holes; will have to borrow from my neighbor.
Did not drill the lower splice plates, because I need to obtain some of the "tight grip" wingnut cleco's in 3/32" and 3/16" just to pull them a bit tighter.
Up-drilled all holes in the forward and aft tunnel zee and the clips associated with same.
Updrilled all lower fwd fuselage skin holes.
Updrilled and deburred the floor stiffener brace and the aft and center gusset for same.
Updrilled to 3/16" the lower crosstie. Had to re-position the firewall since two of these holes went thru that as well as the lower skin, crosstie, and motor mount angle.
