Started on the aft tunnel zee. This required notching the lower edges on the left and right in order to fit over the lower longerons once installed.
Then I studied the plans a bit. A bit of confusion, so I studied some more. Doesn't look very clear where the upper stiffener mounts - no dimensions. Looks like it's symmetrical around the center axis so I'll go with that for now. Didn't bother doing any drilling, though.
Then I had to mark the locations for the 3 thru-spar pins where they reside once inside the spar tunnel. Markings were frustrating because the left and right holes are not spaced from the left and right edges, respectively. They were all spaced from the left edge. And they were in 64ths. Lots of conversions back and forth and to ensure left-to-right consistency. Several marks and re-marks made on the zee. Since the holes have to line up with the wing spar holes, I wanted to get it close enough. There is some wiggle room as the spar holes are 1/4", and the tunnel holes are 3/8".
