Brief Description:  Aft part of Aft Fuse Riveting

Another productive night.

Disassembled all, deburred all parts - skins, bulkhead, welded parts, angle pieces, longerons, etc.

Cleaned up, removed FOD, then repositioned parts and cleco'd into position.

First, riveted the bulkhead to the shear web, and the lower attach angle to the bulkhead.

Next, I riveted the lower cross-tie for the #5 vertical channel station.

Then, riveted external sides. This includes the right side of the vertical tail spar (left side hosts the rudder hinge, so this must wait until tail is mounted). Also includes riveting the bulkhead to the skins (see pic 1 below).

Bolted tailwheel mount to bulkhead attach angle (see pic 2).

Then, riveted shear web-attach-angle-cum-upper crosstie to the #5 vertical channels. This required some forethought. There is a thin-sheet angle already riveted to the front edge of the shear web. This would prevent a straight shot at the angle-to-vertical channels, and given the tight spaces, didn't want to dink around with messed-up rivets. So, while I had the shear web out of the plane for deburr, I removed that leading angle (will re-attach after I flip the fuse over to right-side-up). This allowed a straight shot to the rivets. (see pic 3). Re-cleco'd the front edge angle into place.
