Well, given my alignment trouble last night, today I discovered that I had mis-marked a centerline on the fuselage, and was trying to align with the fuse skewed about 1" off to the side. *sigh*
All things lined up once I corrected the centerline, so I started pilot drilling the lower skin. Checked, and double-checked throughout, tweaking the alignment as I went. Very satisfied.
Next up is to drill the blink holes for the lower splice plates, so I can align and drill the forward crosstie.
