Brief Description: Installed Right Tip Rib - Elevator
Received the new right side tip rib for the elevator that I messed up last week. Placed it into position. Drilled pilot holes to 3/32", then up-drilled to #30. Removed rib, deburred elevator skin and the rib, then riveted in place.
Riveted the fiberglass tip aft rib portion into place now that the elevator is complete. Both sides of the elevator line up perfect with the aft tip ribs.
Only have to fit the right fiberglass tip in place to be finished with the horizontal stabilizer - finally!
