Brief Description: Match Drill R-Wing Rear Spar and Doubler Plates
15-3: Step 2: Match-Drill R-Rear Spar Doubler Plate. Adjusted the vertical height of the plate so that it was flush with the bottom flange of the rear spar, about 1/32 inch removed using belt sander rotating wheel.. Step 3; Align and Match-Drill R-Rear Spar doubler Plates, inner and outer. These required an approximate 3/32 inch removal from the vertial depth of the plate to be flush with the bottom flange. Also needed to notch for the flap hinge brackets. I matched the spar notch to match the L-Wing doublers but probably could have used less of a notch after fitting. Step 4: Cut out the outer Aileron Pushrod Hole on the Outboard Rear Spar Doubler by tracing the hole cut on the rear spar. 15-4: Step 1: Assemble the R-Wing rear spar, doublers, aileron brackets, etc. as indicated in the plans. Match drill #30 and #40 holes where indicated. Step 2: Machine countersinked Rear Spar Doubler Plate, and #40 holes on top flange of the spar immediately above the three doublers.
