I mated the spars today, I was not comfortable drilling the attach blocks to 1/4 by hand and my little drill press does not have the stroke for this job so I borrowed a larger drill press from a friend to do this job. Worked perfectly, nice perfectly round 1/4 holes.
Off course once they were done and bolted together I had to take the mandatory "yes I'm done with these #@!*&!!& spars - picture", every builder has one :-).
I can finally put away the W08 and related drawings. I will pass over the spars with my spray gun though to apply another coat of primer, all the flipping around and tends to mar the primer, no matter how careful you are.
