Today I installed the pushrods and initially set the valve train geometry, I'll check this again once I got the engine back one the airplane. I then finished it all off by installing the various block-off plates, the ringear flywheel & alternator magnets and finally the accessory plate. The engine is now ready to be hung on the plane again but first I want to check my magneto ignition timing, make sure it's all still set correctly. The battery on y timing device seems to have run out so I'll need to get a new one tomorrow first before I can complete this job.
