I prepared the elevators, ailerons and rudder for priming with PreKote yesterday.
Unfortunately I had a bit of a mishap, one of the ailerons slipped out of my hand and dropped on the floor right on one of the trailing edge corners. The impact left a dent and a crack, damn!!! The only way to fix this was to file away the crack, get the dent out as much as possible and re-fill the filed away material with filler. I used fibreglass reinforced filler Luckily I'm painting the aircraft so this won't be visible, otherwise I would have had to remake the whole aileron. Still, not good.
