Not much progress again the last week. I decided I was not happy with the prime job the roller gave me on the ailerons so I took it back off. Luckily this was easily done using industrial strength paint stripper. I don't think I will ever get the results I want with this roller method, at least not if I continue to use this paint. The orange peel effect is just too hard to get rid of. So the options are, switch paint or switch application method. I decided to to the latter and just attempt a spray job myself first. I bought a good quality spray gun (much better than the one I've been using for priming the inside of the plane) and have started practicing. Going ok so far.
