Brief Description:  Cutting the canopy

Started cutting the canopy today, for the moment I'm still handling the canopy myself, no help around but it seems to be quite doable by myself. I won't be able to cut it on the bandsaw that way though. I decided to fix the canopy on a small working surface and use the Dremel tool to cut the canopy. Works great.
I bought a small palm belt sander to do the initial sanding and I use a block to sand the last bit by hand.
So far I've done 2 cuts on each side, initially to the factory mark, then placed the canopy back on the aircraft and made my own mark to the edges to the turtledeck/windscreen, then cut and sanded again.
I'm nearly there now, only a small overlap on the aft side remains (as seen in the last picture below).
