With the cowling done (or at least for now), it is time to move onto the installation of the fence baffles. I bought the AeroVee fence baffle kit from Sonex but off course my engine is not an AeroVee so I expected modifications would be required. This started with the aft fence baffle, my engine isabout 1/2" wider than the AeroVee (longer stroke) and therefore the aft fence baffle needed to be made slightly wider. I made a new one using the AeroVee baffle as a guide but adding some material just past the bends that clear the case. It fits nicely now. In the picture you can see the original AeroVee baffle on top and my new one on the bottom.
