Brief Description: More preparation before installing the fuel tank
Tonight I did some more preparation work before the fuel tank can be installed. The straps holding the fuel tank in place needed to be covered with felt for protection, this felt sheet is found in any hardware store. It was attached using 3M spray adhesive. As per the plans I also soldered the bottom fitting for the fuel sight gauge shut and then drilled a 1/16" hole. This is done to slow fuel draining in case of a leak in the fuel sight gauge.
