I made some new spacers out of .090" plate this time, they fit better than the .060" spacers. I also made a construction that fits onto the mount engine attach points to position it correctly, the pictures show exactly what I did. It seems I have a bit of work now getting it all positioned perfectly, currently the mount sits too far forward and a little low. I've noticed on other builders websites people spend days to get it all to line up perfectly before drilling the mount, looks like I'll be doing the same. I'll also need to grind away some material from the bottom attach angles for clearance (this is normal and called out for in the plans).
