I cut out the openings for the control sticks in the seat sling today. This was done using a circle cutter in my hand drill (I know dangerous but doable if you’re careful) to cut out 3 circles (1 big and 2 smaller ones) for each control stick opening so I get a perfect round edge where required. I then used a jig saw to connect the circles and complete the cut-out, finally a bit of filing and sanding was done to finish off the cut-outs.
I’ve also started drilling 1/2” holes which will make the round edges of the centre cut-out for the seat belts and control rod cover.
