No progress this week since I was away on a business trip to Melbourne, now it’s time to get back into it. I cannot continue on the control stick assembly until the missing bolts and bushings I ordered last week arrive so I decided to go ahead and make the dropped seat sling. I’ve already got the regular seat sling made but since I decided to change to the lowered seat configuration I will have to make the dropped version not. As usual I started by drawing the piece in AutoCAD, printing it on the large scale plotter and gluing it to the aluminium sheet using a 3M spray adhesive. I then cut out the seat sling with the snips. Next I need to make the cut-outs for the control sticks.
