My half sheet (4'x6') of 0.032" aluminium I ordered on Monday arrived this morning so I could start on remaking the floor skin. I used the old faulty floor skin as a template to drill the holes (apart from the line of holes that is to far aft), and mark out the shape on the new sheet. Most holes were still at 3/32" but some were already updrilled to 1/8" & 3/16", I had to take extra care drilling these. I detached the old skin back from the new sheet, now I only need to drill the line of holes that was in the wrong spot on the other sheet and cut out the skin, then I can continue with the forward fuselage F11.
