Today I clamped the R wing flap in place and match drilled the hinge to the flap brace and bottom wing skins. It went much quicker than the L wing flap did. Go figure, I guess I'm learning something here. Diane helped hold the flap while I drilled.
I am pretty much out of parts now for the wing kit except for the fiber glass wing tips. When I have deburred the flap hinge I will start on the tips. I will need to call on my neighbor Gerry to get me going as I haven't worked with fiberglass before. Once I get the tips completed, both wings will go back in the cradle and then I plan to complete the fiberglass tips for the empennage.
