Brief Description: Mounted fuel pick up tubes and torqued
Today I worked on the fuel pick up tubes. I learned that Vans has a service bulletin (SB) that the nuts need to be safety wired because of a past incident where they came off. I researched how guys have done this in the past and found that a drilling jig is the best bet. I will order one this week.
I torqued both nuts to 100 in-lbs and marked the flats where they need to be drilled for the safety wire.
