As predicted, tonight went much more quickly, in part because I had already marked and drilled the left side of the center spar in preparation for putting in the pivot pin. I thought I would celebrate by temporarily clamping on three sets of wing/nose ribs, just to get the general size and shape of the wing. That just made me anxious to get started with actual wing construction. Looks like I have my Labor Day holiday planned out for me.
