Brief Description: Test assembly of entire wing spar structure
Before covering the spars with wing ribs and skin, I thought it would be good to take advantage of the "photo op." When assembled, the wings stretch 27 feet. This picture was taken in the neighbor's yard across the street, and you should have seen the looks I got while "flying" my plane across the street. The next time these bolts are inserted through the spars should be at the airport when the 601XL is being assembled for flight. Just a few thousand steps between here and there.
