The intake angles, as discussed in earlier logs, need to be raised in order to create a smooth transition over the cooling plenums and silicone couplers. I determined that if I add 6 plies of BID over the current trailing edge, I will be able to add filler to raise the lip for a much better angle. However, this also means I will have to painstakingly sand the underneath side of the lip enough to allow the cowling lip to clear both the silicone coupler and fuselage lip. This won't be fun, but I think the Fein tool is going to be the hero here. I'll let this cure a couple days before sanding begins.
