I knife trimmed all the excess BID tape, smoothed all the corners and re-applied a thin layer of epoxy to the exposed dry BID areas. (see pic 3 for detail). I then added the 1 ply of BID tape to the outside seems and Peel plied the edges.
Note: After laying up the 2 plies of BID on the under side of the nose, 1 layer of UND will cover the entire nose as a Final 3rd ply which is recommended when building an extended nose like the berkut. I won't argue the benefit on this one.
