This past weekend I went to a fly-in at M91 and got to try out a few different control grips. To my surprise, none of the factory made sticks felt at home for me. each had buttons in the wrong places and curves in the wrong places. I'm sure they are meant to be a 1 size fits all, but after seeing some of the homebuilts with custom grips I was convinced I could make my own without too much hassle. After pulling out the stock grip that came with the project I determined that it was almost right as is. However, a little trimming here and there and it's now ready to be used as a mold if I decide to use these.
