Brief Description:  Low Point and crossflow fuel line 2

continued...

Simple: (IF) at some point in time the left tank fills with all of the right tanks un-used fuel, this is when the cross flow line will kick in. The 3/8" cross flow line goes between both tanks and terminates about 2" inboard from both ends of the spar. This creates an escape for the "OVER Filling tank to transfer fuel into the other." So why did I choose such a long length of line instead of terminating it on the inboard fuselage sides? Simply this: In any uncoordinated turn with full tanks, there would be a lot of unwanted fuel transfer going on. Moving the ends of the line outboard almost guarantees this wont happen as the fuel level with now run away from the terminated end in a turn.
Now here's the truth, the odds that I will EVER have FULL tanks and be forced to use the right tank only is a million in one, but in case that happens, I've solved 2 important issues with 108" of aluminum. 1. Overfilling and dumping fuel, and 2, Unwanted fuel transfer.
Everything else about the fuel system will be strickly built according to plans. I promise ;)
