Brief Description:  Fuel selector valve, etc

Continuing to convert the old RV-6A battery box to a new life as a mounting, housing for the fuel selector valve and manual elevator trim cable mount.

Mounted the selector valve on the vertical portion using a 3/4 x 3/4 angle of .063 2024 T3. Will use AN4 universal rivets in an 'industrial look' on all components. Valve is below the level of the vertical surface top edge.

Removes the entire box top and used the bandsaw to 'trim out' the top, leaving only a border that will be re-riveted. The flat section removed was then bent to form an angled surface that will be used to mount the elevator manual trim cable vernier adjustment. After test fitting with the cable it was determined that the angle of the top will need to be changed. This trim cable is so large and stiff at the end that it will not mount and allow the cable to loop back inside the box.

Tomorrow I'll need to fabricate sides for the top angle and adjust the tilt of the surface to accomodate the cable and 'stiff end' at a near vertical position. Overall this will be a good solution for the functions.
