Decided to commit some holes to the instrument panel. (I can always change my mind). Worst case is to replace the panel before there is much work on it.
Then started some experimentation with how to attach the eyeball vents. Desire to remove the instrument panel without having to slide it along the the sides, i.e., want to lift it straight up.
Also spent time fabricating and riveting in a bracket for the brake hoses behind the pilot's rudder pedals. The crossmembers in this fuselage preclude using the RV-7 bracket that I bought, and I decided to attach a simple bracket to the horizontal angle.
