Brief Description:  Brake lines, master cylinders

Found the fittings for the brake lines, and determined that installation of the lines would be a good step at this time. The more work around the instrument panel or fwd top skin would complicate access. It's also important to do some work on different tasks to determine interference.

Installing the fittings on the pedals and preparing the lines was straight forward. Routing the lines around the rudder pedal tubes is more complex. The center brace is not riveted on the FW yet, awaiting my decision as to installation of the 'oil filter' indentation. The QB was a solid stainless steel skin but the option is a SS pan. It must be cut-in, and the existing rivets must be removed. Later.

Located the brake resevoir position but did nothing to install yet. Again, IAW the RV-7 FW plan. Ordered a few fittings, hoses, and bracket from Vans on 2/13/07. Just cut the brake lines for now.
