Brief Description:  NACA vents - cut in

NACA vents in the fwd fuselage skin, under the intrument panel, near the firewal.

Used a paper template to layout a pattern. Decided on a position on the skin by reviewing many websites and photos ... no guidance in the drawings, manuals, or the SV-1 parts order.

Decided on 3.5" down and 3" back from the upper fwd corner of the fuselage side skin. The would be the forward most 'center' (upper/lower) of the pattern. This is close enough to the position that seems normal and gives clearance for the rudder pedals to be moved without interference.

The vents will need RTV or Proseal and reinforcements and rivets to secure them.
