Started by fabricating a 'skin' to cover the flap linkage, taking three tries to refine it to satisfaction. The intent was to carefully craft the minimum opening. Cut two at the same time, and drilled both together on the final design. Minor adjustments by filing and positioning but still want to add soft 'fence' or sweep to further close the opening.
Polished the wingwalk area on the Rt wing and due to warm sun the adhesive on the backing and the material was pliable enough to stretch. Worked out a couple of small bubbles but it went on well.
Touched up the primer on the baggage compartment bulkhead, cleaned with degreaser, and applied a good coat of green paint.
Inserted flap pin in the Rt hinge and tested range of motion and linkage. No time to finish.
