Finally, time to make airplane building a priority again. Start on the rollbar repairs (drilled plexi holes and misaligned them with rivets).
Drilled out all the outside rivets, pulled and flush, to remove and completely replace the strap and aft portion of the rollbar. This will allow new rivets to be re-aligned BETWEEN the plexi holes on the outside/aft side. The inside/aft holes will be matched drilled to the new segments, without changing the hole position.
Contoured edges of strap to seat against inside surface of bow. Then clamped the strap, pressed and aligned it, and drilled, deburred, and clecoed the new strap in position. Then removed all the brackets from the damaged rollbar aft components and drilled the 'join' of the two halves.
