Brief Description:  F-674 skin rivet detail

In the process of drilling the F-674 forward top skin, I neglected to resolve the 'missing hole' for the rivet at the juncture of the bulkhead and the stiffener (this was previously riveted at the factory for the QB kit). But with the rivet already set, it needed to be removed, shimmed (left side only) an back drilled through the F-674 top skin.

This was done on both left and right sides, but only the left got a shim. The skin was back-drilled but not deburred or dimpled yet. (do on next skin removal).

With this detail and the rollbar channel attach point completed, the skin 'could be riveted' but I don't have everything done in the tailcone, so it will be clecoed and left for now. (Electrical wiring, for lights, antennas, strobe, and pitch servo still need to be completed).

But the rear window can be drilled, edge polished, and prepared for fasteners, too.
