Brief Description:  F-632B Re-visited (3rd time)

HOORAY - success. I'm now satisfied with the result and ready to pull it together. The dilemma of getting a good fit of the F-632 aft components has been resolved in a satisfactory manner and I think fully compliant with the RV-6A plans.

First in #1 - the web of the F-605 bulkhead (aft side of the baggage compartment), is made of two halves, so the F-632B angle would not be properly fit without a shim of .024 on the left side. I'll rivet the shim to the bulkhead to avoid having a lose piece that will be forgotten in final assembly.

It's also clear in #1 that the five center rivets of the F-674 top skin are AD4-x (drilled out to #30) in this photo. As previously mentioned, complies with the Tech Support clarification, (although not called out in the various plan views, except as mentioned on #36.) Not as clearly shown in the photo is the extremely close distance between the holes and the aft side of the angle. It will be tight to buck these rivets.

The material used to fabricate the F-632B was wider than called out and the excess will be maintained to allow enhanced rivet pattern (later) to the bulkhead. On the top of the angle the excess will be trimmed off slightly, serving no purpose. Finally, the F-632C channel is the 'bottom of the sandwich' and the edge distance is minimal, So I will rivet a .040 shim to the inside of the aft channel to strengthen it. (later)
