At last all the flashing installation is complete, just a little tidy up to do and then disassemble and prime and paint the frame and inside pannels. My friend Dusan made a replacement handle for me after noting my displeasure with the appearance of the tap handle supplied by Zenith. He incorporated some of my ideas and his original concept and it looks really good, its just a really tight fit, can't quite slide it on, might be because of the chrome plating, so I think I'll have to remove a bit of material from the inside of the barrel. To open the canopy you push down on the handle. I have installed my release mechanism the opposite way to the recommendation in the plans because I wanted the top cable to have a direct run to the rear latch, rather then coming up from the botton of the release barrel.
Finished the right side installation of the flashing
Inside view, again this should be hidden by the inside canopy rail cover
Nice little release handle in place of the tap handle supplied by Zenith
