I managed to stuff around for 1.5 hours tonight trimming and fitting the flashing. I have decided to rivet the arm flashing to the forward area of the side flashing and not install the front aluminum sheet, I can't really see the sense in it and it adds no strength to the forward structure. The interior hoop and side flashing will be hidden by the side panel trim so it should look OK. Now if I can do the same for the right side tomorrow I'll be happy, then I can pull it all apart and prime and paint the canopy rails and hoops. I am still contemplating if I should trim the angle on the side flashing even with the rubber trim...
