Brief Description:  Turned wing over so that I could rivet the bottom

It was the usual Saturday ritual, up at 4am to get ready to go flying, the airstrip where I hanger my Bi-Plane is 2 hours drive to the north in the Hunter Valley wine region, the town is called Cessnock, spectacular place to fy from, with the coast just a 20 minute hop away. Anyway after flying Clive came back to my place to help me flip my wing over (he had no choice really since I was driving). It was about 12pm when we started removing the nose skin followed by the bottom skin. Each rib was removed, checked for burrs etc. and re-installed. We pop riveted each rib to the front and rear spar starting at the O/B end for no particular reason. After this was completed we lifted the bottom skin back into place and Clive left me to finish riveting the bottom skin to the ribs. I marked the front and rear spars as no rivet zones so that the nose skins and flaps could be installed. Rivets here would mean lots of drilling...Anyway I finished at around 4pm. The one thing that is driving me nuts is the finger prints all over the aluminium, I find that thinners while it does clean the surface leaves a cloudy film in place, so I have purchased some acetone, to see what results I get with this.
