Brief Description: Fit fuel sender and drill filler hole in wing skin
I ended up just filing the edges of the hole in the tank where the screws were touching, hardly had to remove any material at all and vola, its in. I cleaned out the tank with compressed air and gave it a good shake. Can't here anything, but I am sure there is dust in there from my filing activities. So tomorrow I am going to flush it out with some petrol before doing an over night balloon leak test. I then clamped the template I made the other night for the fuel filler cap position onto the wing skin and cut the hole using a hole saw. The closest size I had was 62mm and I need the hole at 70mm to fit the cap with a little sideways play, so when you don't have the right tool, your reduced to using a file, it came out much better then I expected and its even round.
Fuel sender fitted to tank
Test fit of the filler cap, I have about 3mm play which should help in centering it on the tank
