The first thing to note was I had been running the engine for over 40 minutes over the course of several days testing. Its a 700 hour engine and most of the time it was at 800-1000 rpm Inspection of the mag plugs showed fouling which no doubt was the cause of rough mag only running. I idled enough to load them up. In past life. if that happened to me on the ramp waiting long time to move, I would have ran it up to 1700 and leaned them out to clean them out. Of course until recently, I was praising the mag system for such good performance when it was the ElectroAir that stole the show.
So, now on to fiberglassing to finish up those pieces.
