Used double sided tape to stick the upper bearing to a flat piece of steel. Cleaned both surfaces with lacquer thinner so it stick good and used the arbor press to pres the two pieces together. Ran some test cuts then went for finish of .25" thickness.
Squared up the 1.5" piece for the lower bearing allowing 6mm finish stock out of the middle. Figure all the long hole drilling can be done before spliting
