Made a rough acetate template of the entire wing tip and clecoed it in place. It was very easy finding the rivet holes by being able to see through the acetate. It is a flat plane that I plan to bubble the metal locally about 150mm behind the wing spar to hold the nav/strobe/pos lights. Need to establish 84 degree angle from the top wing skin plane to mount the light. Going to build it up with templates first.
Image 2) Making and mounting L angles on the wing tip and rear spar webs. Had to remake the L angles because the wing tip sheet surface moved out the radius of bend in the wingtip top and bottom angles. Now the L angles actually look like L with one leg longer that the other by about 10mm.
Image 3) The acetate is so clear I put some tape on it so the picture would make sense.
