Now that the skin is held in place to the spar it was time to drill the ribs. There is no easy access to move the ribs if they're not perfectly positioned so I had to use a long piece of timber on some of the ribs which I slid through the lightening holes to push them in place, no big deal , I was able to get the line I drew on the centre of the rib flanges perfectly centred below the holes in the skin every time, I had to do this on the other wing as well BTW. All holes in the forward skin are now drilled to #40, time to install the wing walk and root doubler.
