After a few more days of work on my other project I got back to the Sonex today (just briefly). I managed to peel away the protective plastic from the other side of the lower aft skin (which was a nightmare as usual) and then started positioning the skin on the skeleton. I'm not quite happy with the position I've achieved yet, this one has to be very accurate, the holes in the lower skin going through the aft spar have to line up perfectly with the holes on the other in the upper skin on the other side of the spar. If these don't line up exactly, I will have issues installing the forward skin later. I'm away on business trip to NZ this week so continuing this job will have to wait till next weekend.
