Brief Description: Installing the upper aft wing skin
I installed the aft upper wing skin today. The skin was first clamped in place, I had a few go's at that before I was happy with the placement, then after lots of measuring, checking, re-measuring and re-checking, making sure everything is still square and level (no twist), I started drilling. Drilling starts at the aft spar, working up down, row by row and each row is done from the center outwards. I am very pleased with the results, the rib center lines lined up perfectly with the pilot holes in the skin. Everything remained square while drilling. On to the aft lower skin now.
