As mentioned before, the primer on the spars got damaged a bit from all the flipping and turning that is done whilst riveting, I think this is inevitable, regardless of whether you’re using a rivet gun or the old Sonex “hammer and bolt method”. Anyway, this is easily fixed, a quick pass with the spray gun to put an extra coat over the damaged areas is all it takes, that’s what I did this morning.
